Brief: Ngaj Architecture was asked to design the interiors of a trendy, upmarket lounge and café in a heritage building.
Challenge: Heritage structures are commonplace in Panjim, which pushed us to design interiors that offered a different tone from the façade. Our design took advantage of traditional spaces and reformed them into a stylish hangout. In particular, we bucked the trend of exposed features such as air-conditioning in favour of a smooth, plush interior.
Inspiration: The choice of colours, vision and finishes was the result of exhaustive research on patterns of target clients.
