The basic architectural language was part of the client brief. For a family of four that often entertain a large extended family, we created this nod to past Goan homes with an unique excitement for the future young inhabitants moving from an apartment to a villa.
Existing trees guided the footprint. A widening footpath leads from the entrance gate to a cozy and welcoming porch. Inside the front door is a large double height living and the transition between the spaces brings a sense of awe to guests. Large doors all around leading to a wrap around deck increase the scale of the living areas when required.
